Detecting along the Perkiomen this morning. The creek was frozen in many places and the ice made a loud "cracking" noise as the water attempted to flow underneath. Hard digging in the frozen ground, but I did come up with a small lead seal from a Stassfurt Germany. Most likely from a fertilizer bag or container. Date somewhere between the late 1800's and early
1900's.
