Early 1900's Fruit Jar Along the Perky

Fishing along the Perkiomen Creek this morning I came across a bottle buried along the embankment - I removed it carefully from the dirt and cleaned it up when I got home. It turned out to be a "Smalley, Kivlan, and Onthank" Queen fruit jar - dated 1909 and 1920.

A few finds from World War II era

I dug these old eye glasses and a nice "Victory - World Peace" token from a creek bed today. Weather was perfect for detecting - not too hot.

May 1st Creek Adventure

Another adventure on the Skippack Creek - Lots of frogs and tadpoles.

The weather was great this weekend and reached into the upper 80's.
